What is QUAKE?

QUAKE is a family of teens that are striving to live for the purpose of shaking the world for Christ. It’s not easy to live for Christ in a way that attracts other to Him instead of turning them away from Him. But that is what we at QUAKE are striving to do.

QUAKE exists to inspire all youth to LOVE God with all their might, to LIVE as passionate, life-long disciples of Jesus Christ, and to LEAD others to Christ.

QUAKE on LOVE

The reason we exist is simple: Jesus Christ. He lived a sinless life so that He could die on the cross to pay for our sins and yours. Why? Because He loves us! Because He loves you! “For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life,” John 3:16.

A relationship with Jesus Christ guarantees that you will live forever with God in heaven, a place amazing beyond our wildest dreams! QUAKE wants to introduce you to the One who loves you more than you will ever understand.

Saying YES to a relationship with Jesus is just the beginning. Think of your best friend. To become best friends you didn’t say yes to your friendship and then never speak again. Friendships take time, energy, commitment, and trust. A relationship with Jesus is the same way.

He calls us to LIVE for Him as passionate, life-long disciples. A disciple is just another word for a follower. Jesus wants us to follow Him. To seek Him. To become like Him. To grow with Him. QUAKE wants to help you LIVE for Jesus, because living any other way isn’t really living!

QUAKE on LEAD

Think of the sweetest thing you have ever gotten. What did you do with it? Hide it away and keep it to yourself? Of course not, you know you were showing it to everyone and telling everyone about it. A relationship with Jesus is the same way. God wants us to tell others about Jesus and He has given us special gifts, talents, strengths, and abilities to help us.

QUAKE wants to help you identify your gifts, talents, strengths, and abilities so that you can LEAD others to Christ.
